Financial Reporting Specialist

Corporate Reporting of SoftServe is a team of professionals who support regular audit processes, tax controls, and communication with external partners, advisors, and consultants.

IF YOU ARE

• A holder of at least 4 years of professional experience with accounting or audit
• Possessing an understanding of accounting principles, international financial reporting standards, and local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for EMEA and APAC region
• Qualified with a bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management, or similar area
• Experienced with EMEA and APAC regions, or other international markets
• Skilled in organization and time management
• Used to working under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Great at problem-solving to ensure high-quality work
• Possessing excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in business communication with clients in English
• Certified in a professional field, like a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) or having your Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams in progress (would be a plus)
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Post and process specific journal entries to ensure complex business transactions
• Manage document flow and run defined checks and controls
• Adhere to deadlines per month-closing schedules and instructions
• Follow regulatory updates and field requirements
• Prepare financial reports and other custom reports
• Reconcile financial statements
• Coordinate tax topics including tax returns
• Maintain professional competence and due care
• Support regular audit processes, tax controls, etc.
• Communicate with external partners, advisors, and consultants
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
• Lead internal and cross-functional projects within your field of responsibility
• Coordinate team and project activities, including planning and delegation
• Supervise and share knowledge with team associates
• Attend and contribute to international teams
