Highly organized, collaborative, customer focused, and capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects and external and internal stakeholders efficiently? Do you enjoy working within and improving project workflows, planning, tracking and completing projects from start to completion. Are you able to work within tight time pressure and meet deadlines? Have you previously worked in an editorial/content production or sales administration environment?

Are you eager to support and be integral to the success of a dynamic sales team?

Your new role:

As an Account specialist you will support the special sales team and customers during the sales process, ensuring the profitable growth of the Commercial Sales department. Account specialists focus is primarily on aftersales project support and converting leads into sales for special sales opportunities across assigned sales territories and special sales revenue streams.

The Account Specialist works with different teams to compile data accurately, helping sell and support special sales products. You can enhance sales process and productivity by delivering excellent customer service, implementing project plans, and supporting customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. You will actively monitor and track special sales projects from pre-production to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery using systems like MS Planner, SAGE Track, and SMART.

You will be responsible for achieving planned target revenue for your assigned territory through active and reactive selling of special sales products. You will resolve customer problems and recommend modifications to products or services. Additionally, you will undertake a range of sales and administrative duties focused on the delivery of special sales products, such as sponsored bulk subscriptions, podcasts, and microsites.

You'll handle special sales projects, working closely with suppliers, generating invoices and orders, and resolving invoicing and credit issues with the CRM manager. You will utilize Microsoft CRM for accurate order entry, invoicing, managing customer records, and providing sales or call reports.

The account specialist covers for special sales account managers and maintains a positive image with clients and suppliers, responding quickly to inquiries within SLAs.
