About The Job

In your role, you are a strategic thinker who works to uncover the needs of our tourism partners and delivers an innovative solution that allows Madden Media to deliver exceptional service and value.

We're looking for someone who resides in the Northeast region of the United States to:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and company goals.
  • Ensure renewals on current book of business with a focus on year-over-year opportunity growth
  • Be a trusted representative for Madden Media at regional and tourism-related events
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to expand the team's client base.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and proposals to existing and prospective clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the execution of client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address any client concerns or issues promptly.
  • Work with internal campaign managers to build strategy and coach them on the ability to deliver exceptional value to our partners
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Travel for this role; generally 1-2 weeks a month

Desired Qualifications:

  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience in business development, account management, or senior level marketing roles
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
