Position Overview

Are you a seasoned property claims professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences? We're looking for a Senior Property Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic field team. This role primarily involves working in the field within your assigned territory, with the flexibility to work from home when not conducting inspections.

As a Senior Property Claims Adjuster, you’ll play a crucial role in providing a seamless and positive claims experience for our clients. You'll be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling property claims using the latest technologies, including drones for property inspections and virtual claim handling software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations of claims, determining policy coverage, evaluating damages, and negotiating settlements.
  • Engage with insureds, claimants, and other relevant parties to gather information, obtain recorded statements (when necessary), and explain the claims process.
  • Perform both physical and virtual inspections of damaged properties, assess damages, and prepare detailed estimates in accordance with policy provisions and liability.
  • Utilize innovative tools and technology to guide clients through the claim process safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalent software), Xactimate, and other claims estimating tools.
  • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques.
  • Holds and maintains the necessary adjuster's licensing for the states in which we operate.
  • Comfortable working in a remote and virtual office environment, with access to a mobile office/company vehicle for fieldwork.
  • Flexible to work beyond regular business hours as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive an automobile.
  • Physical ability to walk, reach, climb, and inspect damage under various conditions, including inclement weather.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and climb ladders for roof inspections.
  • Availability for catastrophic duty if required.
  • Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience, education, and training.
