Description

Are you passionate about Salesforce and ready to make an impact in a dynamic environment? In this role, you will play a key part in designing and developing solutions to enhance our Salesforce platform. You will lead technical teams, manage implementation and performance of Salesforce activities, and ensure alignment with our strategic goals.

Collaboration will be essential as you work with stakeholders across campus to drive system administration success, offering high-level guidance and expertise. You will also consult with senior leadership to communicate progress, explore new opportunities, and make impactful decisions regarding our Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize our CRM platform to meet organizational needs, managing a complex environment with over 700 users.
  • Direct and provide guidance to the Salesforce Administration team on platform configuration, user account management, and technical support.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Product Manager, Application Engineers, IT Architects, and Director of Enterprise Systems to develop a platform roadmap.
  • Partner with the Project Management Office to ensure resources meet project demands.
  • Work alongside the Enterprise System Architect to create scalable technical solutions addressing business needs.
  • Conduct proactive system maintenance, security reviews, and implement enhancements to improve functionality.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure integration and support for the Salesforce platform.
  • Maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems like SPIRE, Kuali Build, and Slate.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to meet department and university goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in enterprise application implementation or a related field.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator or with major CRM systems.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator certification (or similar).
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Proven capability in business analysis, data quality management, and effective communication.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with business software applications and experience administering enterprise applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education or with CRM systems.
  • Advanced degree or certification in an IT-related field.
  • Skills in usability evaluation, user interface design, and data visualization software like Tableau.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Occasional nights and weekends may be required.
  • Hybrid and remote work options available.

Salary Information

  • Level 32, PSU Hiring Ranges.
