Litigation Attorney - Hybrid/Remote Options

Are you a dedicated Attorney/Lawyer with a passion for litigation? We're looking for a talented legal professional to join a dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. This role offers flexibility with hybrid or mostly remote work options.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of BI/third-party litigation from start to finish, including taking cases to trial and achieving verdicts. Experience with first-party claims for auto carriers is a plus.
• Lead trials as the primary attorney, guiding cases through to verdict.
• Take full ownership of case files and manage an entire inventory effectively.
• Apply your knowledge of local and state discovery rules, trial procedures, and relevant laws to your work.
• Present and cross-examine witnesses, including both lay and expert witnesses.
• Oversee support staff in clerical and administrative tasks related to case management.
• Work efficiently in a paperless, electronic environment with strong technological skills for both case handling and courtroom presentations.
• Experience with automobile negligence defense matters is preferred.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar with good standing.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
