Senior Insurance Risk Analyst - Global Strategy & Claims Management

Are you a seasoned risk analyst ready to make a significant impact? We're looking for a proactive Senior Insurance Risk Analyst to join our team and lead our efforts in managing and mitigating risks. In this hybrid role, you'll balance working from home with engaging directly with our team in the office. You'll play a key role in shaping our global insurance strategies, managing claims, and performing crucial risk analysis to protect our assets and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Program Management:

• Develop, evaluate, and implement our global risk insurance programs, covering both US and international needs.
• Ensure accuracy in all policies, endorsements, audits, and related documents.
• Handle daily tasks such as managing internal requests for policies, certificates, and auto ID cards, and coordinating claims and loss control services.
• Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to prepare applications, proposals, and presentations.
• Act as the main point of contact for insurance inquiries from facilities.
• Review and negotiate insurance provisions in contracts and manage self-insurance requirements as needed.
• Allocate premiums and expenses through our Risk Management Information System.
  
  

Claims Management

• Partner with brokers and insurance carriers to manage and resolve claims efficiently.
• Analyze claims data to support timely closure and effective management of claims.
  
  

Risk Analysis

• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate liability and contractual risks.
• Perform risk analysis, including underwriting information compilation and loss forecasting, to ensure maximum protection of assets and assist in loss reduction.
  
  

Experience

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with an insurance carrier or broker, or in corporate risk management.
• CPCU or ARM designations are a plus, but not required.
  
  

Skills

• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with Risk Management Information Systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with various functions within the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management skills.
