Description

We are seeking a skilled relationship builder with a passion for optimizing supply chains to enhance and manage our key account partnerships. In this role, you will focus on strengthening existing relationships, ensuring high standards of quality and delivery, and driving mutual growth. Collaboration with various internal teams and accounts will be crucial for a smooth and efficient supply chain operation.

Responsibilities

  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and nurture lasting relationships with key accounts to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Handle contract negotiations, pricing, and terms for cost-effectiveness and reliability.
  • Monitor Performance: Track account performance through KPIs and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Conduct Audits: Perform regular account audits to drive business development and strengthen partnerships.
  • Forecast and Manage: Coordinate with the procurement team to forecast demand and manage inventory levels efficiently.
  • Serve as Point of Contact: Act as the main contact for all account-related inquiries, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with internal departments (e.g., production, quality assurance, logistics) for seamless operations.
  • Innovate and Enhance: Identify opportunities to enhance account value through innovative collaboration and joint ventures.
  • Optimize Processes: Drive initiatives to improve supply chain processes and reduce costs while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Support Strategic Plans: Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to boost account growth and performance.
  • Analyze Trends: Stay informed about market trends and industry changes to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Leverage Networks: Use existing account networks to introduce and integrate new products or services.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to customer sites, up to 25%.

Who You Are

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in account management, supply chain, or business development within the manufacturing sector, preferably metal manufacturing.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce is a plus); analytical mindset with strong project management abilities.
