Your missions

Description

We are seeking a strategic thinker with a passion for technology procurement. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our technology strategy by managing the procurement process for IT hardware, software, and services. You’ll thrive in building strong relationships, negotiating complex contracts, and driving value through strategic sourcing.

What You'll Do

Strategic Sourcing:

  • Lead the procurement process by developing RFI/RFP events, analyzing responses, and crafting negotiation materials.
  • Oversee contract negotiations for complex and high-value agreements to ensure the best outcomes.

Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure competitive prices and superior service.
  • Ensure compliance with contract management processes and seek opportunities for continuous cost improvement.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and manage a team of procurement specialists, guiding them through RFI/RFP processes and contract negotiations.
  • Assign and monitor projects to support the technology team's goals and objectives.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure a seamless procurement process.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about procurement programs and market trends to drive strategic decisions.

Value Creation

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and document the value generated from procurement activities.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and stay updated on emerging technologies to continuously drive value.

Project Management

  • Lead projects as directed by the technology leadership team, managing priorities and ensuring alignment with budget objectives.
  • Support the development of category strategies and integration agreements across internal and external partners.

Experience

What You'll Bring

  • 5-7 years of procurement experience, with a focus on technology or software industries.
  • Proven track record of negotiating contracts for hardware and software licenses, including SaaS, HaaS, and PaaS.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.

Skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in developing category strategies and managing product life cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in managing multiple high-priority programs.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of emerging technologies and trends such as AI, cloud computing, and IoT.
