Responsibilities

  • Discover and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Create and implement strategies to enhance our service offerings, tailored to meet clients’ specific needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and industry partners.
  • Use your industry knowledge and market insights to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Lead and develop operations teams to support both new and existing clients.
  • Ensure all operations run smoothly and meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and productivity.
  • Manage and mentor a growing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Drive financial performance by increasing gross profit margins and revenue.
  • Monitor financial metrics and KPIs, taking action as needed to meet targets.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high service quality.
  • Leverage a broad carrier network to ensure capacity and competitive pricing.
  • Build and nurture relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and terms to benefit our clients.
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements and company policies are met in carrier management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or a similar field.
  • A proven track record in business development and revenue growth.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing and scaling teams.
  • An extensive carrier network and excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
