Responsibilities

• Develop Strategy: Craft and execute a supply chain strategy that supports our mission, reduces costs, and boosts efficiency and sustainability.
• Manage Suppliers: Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and ensure high-quality standards.
• Oversee Procurement: Manage the procurement of materials and services, ensuring they meet technical specifications, sustainability criteria, and budget requirements.
• Handle Logistics: Direct logistics operations, including warehousing and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of components and finished products.
• Optimize Inventory: Implement inventory management systems to optimize levels, minimize waste, and ensure the availability of key components.
• Mitigate Risks: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to address them, from supplier issues to market fluctuations.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Manufacturing, R&D, and Finance to ensure supply chain strategies align with company-wide goals.
• Drive Sustainability: Promote and implement sustainable practices within the supply chain to reduce environmental impact and support ethical sourcing.
• Lead the Team: Inspire and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: At least 15 years in supply chain management, with 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in aerospace, manufacturing, or technology.
• Strategic Skills: Proven ability to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.
• Negotiation Expertise: Strong negotiation skills and experience in building strong supplier relationships.
• Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and risk management.
• Leadership: Track record of leading high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.
• Sustainability: Passion for sustainability with experience in implementing eco-friendly supply chain practices.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-level interactions.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications are highly desirable.
