Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a territory strategy for Missouri to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Qualify potential customers using internal and external leads, routing opportunities effectively.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with prospects, presenting solutions that drive value.
  • Utilize marketing materials to create compelling presentations for prospective clients.
  • Represent the company at conferences and trade shows to showcase products and services.
  • Create customized pricing solutions for high-growth commercial clients and drive public sector growth.
  • Ensure smooth transitions to the account management team while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and key performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM, keeping activity logs and pipeline data updated.
  • Continuously seek improvement, embracing coaching and feedback from managers and peers.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and your team to drive growth beyond traditional office supplies.

Qualifications

  • Required: High School diploma or GED with 4 years of field sales experience.
  • Ability to travel within Missouri for customer appointments and events (approx. 50% travel).
  • Preferred: 6 months of experience in the public sector market and a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in business development is preferred.
