Your missions

Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who has a passion for helping customers succeed. In this role, you will be responsible for driving $1M in new revenue by fostering relationships with customers in both the public sector (SLED) and commercial markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to increase market penetration and revenue growth within your assigned territory (Missouri).
  • Qualify and engage potential customers from internal and external leads, assessing their size, spending habits, and growth potential.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to maximize opportunities and deliver customized solutions based on customer needs.
  • Schedule and attend in-person meetings with prospects to present our solutions, products, and values while building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Create engaging presentations using marketing materials to communicate the value of our products and services, converting prospects into loyal customers.
  • Represent the company at conferences, tradeshows, and events, identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Develop custom pricing solutions for high-growth commercial customers and leverage education contracts and cooperative purchasing partnerships to drive growth.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff of new customers to the account management team for ongoing support.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals and key performance metrics.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system, including all activities, leads, and sales pipelines.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve your sales process and performance through coaching, collaboration, and learning.

What's Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4 years of field sales experience.
  • Travel within Missouri based on customer appointments and conferences (approximately 50%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the public sector market (SLED).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven track record in business development and revenue growth.
