The Product Review team helps clients achieve their goals by ensuring the firm's offerings are aligned with clients' interests and our investment philosophy. Analysts in Product Review independently evaluate a broad array of proposed and currently available investments and services to determine whether they can, or continue to, be appropriate for a client's goals. This requires a high degree of independent judgement and discretion to protect our clients and the firm. Analysts collaborate with internal stakeholders to correctly position the offerings and educate financial advisors and clients as appropriate. Analysts are expected to have strong critical thinking skills, a track record of success executing established analytical processes, a broad understanding of the financial industry, and an intellectual curiosity to further develop their subject matter expertise.

  • Independently review and monitor investments for alignment with the Edward Jones investment philosophy and our clients' interests
  • Act as subject matter expert providing analysis and recommendations on specific products or services
  • Clearly communicate with stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
  • Maximize team effectiveness by working with other analysts to develop innovative solutions
  • Actively build relationships with stakeholders and branch teams to better understand client needs

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $113810

Hiring Maximum: $193785

Skills/Requirements

What you'll need...

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience, including prior experience in investment analysis
  • CFA designation, or progress toward designation
  • SIE, Series 7, Series 66
  • Proven ability to conduct research related to the investment quality and merits of products and services
  • Solid understanding of financial modeling utilizing spreadsheets, data tools, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Morningstar)
  • Knowledge of economic, statistical, and investment concepts
  • Ability to address difficult situations and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to successfully execute analytical processes in order to make high-quality and efficient decisions
  • Experience communicating analysis and decisions in a variety of ways to multiple audiences
  • Experience with Alternative Investments preferred

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
