This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting early-stage startup experiencing hypergrowth in a white-hot segment of the cybersecurity space.

Cycode is a rapidly growing cybersecurity startup and creator of the world’s first complete Application Security Posture Management platform to protect against software supply chain risks. According to Gartner, software supply chain attacks (like the one that impacted Solarwinds) will affect 45% of organizations and grow three-fold by 2025. Unfortunately, traditional AppSec offers little protection against these devastating threats. That’s where Cycode comes in. Our platform provides customers with complete visibility, prioritization, and remediation across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) — to prevent them from becoming the next SolarWinds.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a high-impact role in the Cycode Marketing team, working on the critical handover between Marketing-Sales. The SDR’s goal is to help grow Cycode’s customer base by building quality pipeline / sales opportunities. You’ll use creative prospecting strategies to convert marketing-generated leads from multiple sources - including hand raisers (demo requests) to people we meet at events - into qualified sales opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to jump-start a career in Marketing or Sales as you’ll be a crucial partner to both teams.

Responsibilities

  • Generate prospect meetings for the Sales team by nurturing and converting marketing leads, as well as through creative outbound prospecting campaigns 
  • Run customer calls to qualify potential opportunities and set introductory meetings for the Sales team
  • Nurture early phase opportunities for future pipeline potential
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity quota (with no compensation cap for over-performance)
  • Drive prospecting touch points across phone, email and social networks with confidence
  • Diligently log, track and maintain activity in our CRM (Salesforce)



Requirements

  • 1+ year of SDR/MDR/BDR experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and relationship management skills
  • Passion for complex tech solutions and business curiosity
  • Must be able to communicate business and technical value to prospects at high levels of customer organizations
  • Prior experience in a startup environment is a plus
  • You’re highly motivated, driven and a self-start with grit and creativity
  • Knowledge of MDR tools such as Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, Zoominfo.com, LinkedIn SalesNavigator etc
  • Highly organized to manage daily outreach activities across multiple campaigns
