Experienced Mortgage Loan Officer - Residential Lending Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Officer who is passionate about helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams. In this role, you'll engage in various activities including real estate, hard money lending, non-QM lending, wholesaling, house flipping, and renovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Sourcing: Identify and cultivate new opportunities with home buyers and current homeowners.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about various loan products (hard money, non-QM, VA, FHA, conventional) and learn new ones as needed.
• Business Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, past clients, and other real estate professionals to generate referrals.
• Client Communication: Guide clients through the loan application process, advising them on qualifications and loan products.
• Loan Processing: File applications, handle documentation, and manage customer complaints effectively.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in mortgage lending with a proven track record.
• Licensing: NMLS license required. Either DFPI or DRE license is also necessary.
• Skills: Strong telephone presence, excellent attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Networking: Existing realtor relationships are a plus, with the ability to build and nurture referral partnerships.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  
  

What We Offer

• Compensation: Choose your own compensation plan with rates from 150bps to 225bps (1.75% - 2.25% of the loan amount). Expected monthly earnings range from \(8,000 to \)50,000+, based on performance.
• Commission Structure: This is a 100% commission-based position, with potential base pay, advances, or draws available on a case-by-case basis.
• Support: Leads may be provided, and local realtor introductions will be arranged to help you get started.
  
  

Essential Functions

• Originate quality FHA, VA, Conventional, and Non-QM mortgage loans.
• Accurately qualify applicants and recommend suitable loan products.
• Navigate clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth experience.
• Stay up-to-date with loan program guidelines, policies, and procedures.
