Job Description

Reporting directly into the Head of FP&A, the main purpose of the FP&A Manager role is to complete all Internal and Group reporting of past and future financial performance, and support the completion of the financial forecast, budget and strategic long term planning process for the Valeo Foods UK division, providing insight and analysis to support the business decision making process.

  • Manage the production of insightful, timely and accurate historical and future financial reporting, for both internal UKLT (UK Leadership Team) and Group MMR PowerPoint Board reporting, adhering to any standardised requirements, and including clear communication with Finance Teams where input is required
  • Completion of detailed financial bridge analysis on actual performance with narrative to provide clear understanding on the key drivers of movements versus comparators
  • Support the Head of FP&A in completing key group reporting (e.g. international sales, intercompany sales, continuous improvement project tracking)
  • Submission of Group reporting
  • Develop strong relationship with Valeo Group FP&A team
  • Respond in a timely manner to Valeo Group queries on the reporting submitted to them
  • Manage completion of insightful weekly current month P&L view to EBITDA for all elements of the UK division
  • Completion of ad-hoc analysis as required

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA) with supporting professional experience
  • Proven track record of effectively supporting and influencing stakeholders and providing a full ‘business partnering service’.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders to gather data, disseminate insights and manage requests
  • Extremely strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and impactful manner
  • Good IT skills – especially excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrable track record in a reporting and forward planning role
