Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated, full-time Scientific Business Development Representative to help build a truly global life science brand. As a remote colleague, you will work at developing strong relationships in the life science research market to grow new business. As part of the sales team, you will work closely with our sales manager to support the strategic development and delivery of the annual sales plan. The role also includes responsibility for the delivery of agreed sales targets and KPI’s.

Salary - 45kphp Per Month

Type of Work - Full Time (Remote)

Work Schedule - European (Ireland) Time Zone

Job Level - Advanced Level

Requirements

  • In depth background in a remote set-up of work similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor (deep understanding on the pros & cons involved in this industry).
  • Comfortable working remotely within the European (Ireland) time zone.
  • BA/BSc/MSc or PhD in Science is required.
  • Previous BDR experience desirable.
  • Demonstrated track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly in generating new accounts within the life science market.
  • High degree of customer service with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively manage relationships with key customers.
  • Strong understanding of the life science industry, with the ability to effectively communicate the full product portfolio in line with company strategy.
  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems for managing leads, forecasting, and maintaining customer data.
  • Skilled in prospecting new leads using in-house digital tools, with the ability to manage and oversee digital outreach processes.
  • Ability to actively manage the sales process through various communication channels, ensuring alignment with the company's sales strategy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude towards the company and market.
  • Willingness to maintain and update technical knowledge through courses and in-house product training.
  • Ability to follow company procedures and policies, including adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • With fast, reliable and stable internet connection (LAN or Fiber) and with internet backup.
