US Payroll and Tax Expert

Who are we seeking?

We are seeking an experienced US Payroll and Tax to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for US based clients and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

What you will be doing:

• Payroll Processing: Execute end-to-end payroll processing for US-based clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll calculations, including salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxes.
• Tax Withholding and Reporting: Deducting the correct amounts for federal, state, and local taxes from employee wages. Submitting these taxes to the appropriate government agencies and preparing necessary reports.
• Compliance: Ensuring that payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local laws, including regulations related to minimum wage, overtime, and benefits.
• Reporting: Prepare and review quarterly and annual payroll tax reports, including W-2s, 941s, and other relevant forms.

• Collaborate: With clients to address payroll and tax-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and support.

Requirements

You must bring:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex payroll and tax concepts to clients.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• CPA
• 2+ years working for a US based managed payroll
