Technical Support Engineer for Hydrogen Remote Services (m/f/d)

What You Will Enjoy Doing

  • In this position, you will be part of the Hydrogen Support Center team, that provides worldwide remote support to Hydrogen Refueling Stations and electrolyzers
  • You will be the first responder if the cloud-based monitoring system indicates a malfunction of the HRS or the operator of the HRS calls to report an issue, provide second level support and give them feedback on improving the design
  • If the solution requires local intervention, you will trigger the local service response and coordinate troubleshooting and repair
  • Initially you will work day shift with on-call duties during the night and on week-ends. There is an option to work on shift 24/7 later on
  • In the initial phase you will receive hands-on training on the Hydrogen Refueling Stations and work hand in hand with an experienced engineer. You will be further trained on all the relevant applications such as electrolyzers and further plant types
  • Furthermore, you will be part of the international Linde Advanced Operations Services team located in Budapest and connected to the global presence, with the opportunity to take over engineering and development tasks within appropriate projects

What Makes You Great

  • You own a Technician or Engineering degree in the field of Process Automation or Chemical Engineering
  • Further you have minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar field of work ideally as a Panel Operator or
  • Maintenance Technician/Engineer in the process industry
  • Additionally, you have basic knowledge of process plant equipment including pumps and compressors
  • Experience with processing hydrogen or other flammable gases is a plus
  • Experience with commissioning, maintaining or troubleshooting process plants controlled by PLCs or DCS, knowledge of Siemens S7 is a plus
  • You own good communication & presentation skills in English
  • You have willingness to learn more about control systems and IT networks
  • You are passionate about working with customers and are able to perform and organize work in an agile customer driven environment
  • You are a fast learner with intrinsic motivation who has the ability to lead and collaborate within international cross‐cultural distributed teams
