Job description

In NATECH, we are looking for a Product Owner, having previous experience in Core Banking domain ensuring our systems meet the highest standards! As a Product Owner, Core Banking you will be responsible to implement the product vision and strategy collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, marketing, sales, and business analysts. You will act as ambassador of the customer in the company, responsible for the full lifecycle of a viable banking product from scouting, development, testing, deployment, and improvement to compliance. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute plans for new products and existing product developments, in close cooperation with the Product Manager, Core Banking. 
  • Work with Scrum Masters Engineering teams and business experts to support goals and objectives, including creating innovative customer experiences, streamlining operations, and integrating cross-functional teams to learn through experiences, self-organize while working on an issue, and reflect on to continuously improve. 
  • Work towards tracking KPIs and reports which will be necessary to analyze performance and address issues on time.
  • Collect, analyze, and prioritize feedback (e.g., data, surveys, focus groups) as well as researching the competition, trends on needs, core banking, technology, and developments to make sound recommendations to the Product Manager, Core Banking.  
  • Analyze the use customers make of the bank’s products and services to ensure product utilization, enhanced customer experience, and engagement. 
  • Design processes, workflows, and functional components to improve efficiency and timely delivery. 
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers (back and front end), UX Designers, and Marketing to turn requirements into specifications and comprehensive user stories to improve quality and performance.  
  • Follow the progress of work and addresses production product issues during sprints.  
  • Expresse and prioritizes backlog items to optimize the value of the developers’ work. 
  • Manage the communication, toolkits, and training of relative stakeholders.  
  • Organize demos and runs pilot programs (testing) by working with customers to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.  
  • Ensure ongoing maintenance and administration once the product is implemented. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related to the business field. 
  • Minimum 2 years working in FinTech as a Product Owner, leading product management and/ or business process delivery. 
  • Established market expertise in understanding the customer journey, competition, and industry trends. 
  • Solid knowledge of banking software (Customer Onboarding(KYC), Deposits, Loans, Payments).  
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to leadership team.  
  • Well experienced in planning, organizing and structure work. 
  • Heavily experienced in building and managing cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience in online analytics, tracking and reporting tools to understand data and turn into specs and products. 
  • Comfortable with technology used (e.g., SQL, APIs, UX design).  
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for banking products and services.  
  • Experience with tools like Jira or azure Devops.
