Position Summary: The Product Owner (PO) will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and overseeing the development of products that align with the company's strategic goals. The PO acts as the bridge between the business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product delivers maximum value to the business and users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Roadmap (Strategic Agility): Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the company's objectives. Think strategically to ensure the product aligns with long-term business goals.
  • Backlog Management (Managing Complexity): Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, balancing multiple priorities and making trade-offs to handle complex product challenges effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement (Influence & Interpersonal Savvy): Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure that the product meets or exceeds expectations. Build strong relationships to align all parties with the product vision.
  • User Story Creation (Customer Focus): Write clear, concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria that provide direction to the development team. Ensure these stories address customer needs and add value.
  • Sprint Planning & Review (Drive for Results): Participate in sprint planning meetings to clarify requirements and set priorities; attend sprint reviews to ensure the product is on track. Focus on delivering high-quality results within time and resource constraints.
  • Team Collaboration (Interpersonal Savvy): Work closely with the development team, providing guidance and making quick decisions to ensure the team remains productive. Maintain smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Product Launch (Decision Quality): Plan and execute product launches, working with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the product release are coordinated. Make informed, timely decisions to keep the product on track.
  • Continuous Improvement (Customer Focus & Drive for Results): Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and make data-driven decisions to improve the product continuously. Keep a strong focus on customer needs and product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and provide clear direction in a fast-paced environment.
