Your missions

Gowan Crop Protection is looking for a Country Manager for the Ecuador Region. This position will report into the Head of LATAM Region.




Examples of Specific Duties:
  • Build and implement the mid-long-term strategy for the country business and manage the execution of the short term plan
  • Align and execute local strategy with regional and global strategies.
  • Develop specific focus for target crops such Banana, Flowers and Avocado
  • Obtain clear, achievable annual forecasts from distributors/resellers to which we can efficiently produce finished goods
  • Provide input into and communicate adjustments to sales terms and product prices annually to ensure balance and efficiency
  • Establish annual working plans with key customers to ensure we capture all opportunities for Gowan products
  • Identify and execute distribution changes and other go-to-market elements
  • Design product annual product plans and longer term projections to achieve sales/profit objectives in close collaboration with asset managers
  • Provide input into annual budgeting process to ensure proper growth and/or defense of products to align with product strategies
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and ensuring  staff member compliance
  • Attend to global meetings in USA, Mexico, Colombia, UK and Brazil
  • Represent Gowan in different annual meetings such as Acorbat and Corbana

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • English Language. Ability to conduct a meeting in English, explain in detail a business case and communicate effectively with peers in English
  • Extensive experience in sales and marketing of crop protection in the region.
  • Demonstrated capability to influence and effectively manage senior managers of distributors and resellers including those in purchasing, technical and sales positions.
  • Education in Agronomics, Business, Marketing with understanding of basic financial indicators
