Job Overview

Position Overview: We are seeking a Sexual Harassment Training Consultant with experience in the janitorial industry.  This role is responsible for delivering California-compliant sexual harassment prevention training to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the janitorial sector and be knowledgeable about best practices in workplace harassment prevention.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive sexual harassment prevention training programs in compliance with California state regulations.
  • Tailor training content to address the unique challenges and dynamics of the janitorial industry.
  • Conduct live training sessions for employees and supervisors.
  • Ensure that training materials are accessible, engaging, and culturally relevant to a diverse workforce.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and follow-up sessions, and make improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Compliance teams to ensure training is aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Stay current with California sexual harassment laws and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding sexual harassment policies and reporting procedures.
  • Maintain detailed training records and prepare reports on training activities and compliance status.
 
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of HR experience with delivering relevant harassment prevention training.
  • Proven experience in the janitorial industry, with an understanding of its work environment and challenges.
  • Previous experience in delivering sexual harassment prevention training, preferably in California.
  • Knowledge of state laws regarding sexual harassment and workplace compliance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate a diverse audience.
  • Ability to handle sensitive topics with professionalism, empathy, and cultural competence.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Certification in HR, Training, or related fields is a plus.

Preferred:
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is highly desirable
  • Based in California strongly preferred (not required)
  • Familiarity with janitorial operations and typical work conditions within the industry.
  • 95% travel if located in CA.  100% travel if outside CA
  • Will be a 1099 contractor for a 3-month contract with possibility of extension
