What’s unique about this role?

The Migration Manager joins the ETS (eDiscovery Technical Services) Hosting Operations team in supporting the day-to-day operations of overseeing the Migration technical team, prioritization and coordination of active Migration requests, and Migration process development and improvements.

 

Additionally, the Migrations Manager will act as a point of escalation for Migration technician requests, will support queue management as needed, and will be central to team skills development.

 

The Migrations Manager is also expected to play a critical role by partnering with the other Lighthouse eDiscovery Technical Services teams, as well as our internal Client Services teams, to migrate external data (ARMS, Concordance data, etc.) to Relativity workspaces hosted in Lighthouse Relativity instances, all while meeting aggressive client deadlines with the highest level of quality. 

 

What will this person do?

  • Be an active participant in scoping calls with Client Services and other ETS teams to plan execution steps to achieve the goals established for any given Migration project and provide estimated timelines.
  • Be an active participant in recurring Migration stand-up calls and be prepared to represent the Migration team on the status of projects in progress and answer technical questions when called upon.
  • Partner with the Onboarding and Client Success team to provide estimates (both billable hours and turn-around time estimates) based on available information.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency while working on multiple projects, escalating items to Hosting Leadership deadlines are threatened, and coordinate with the Client Services team to complete projects in order of the priority given by the Client Services team. 
  • Create, document, and implement new workflows and processes in continuously refined KB articles, and socialize these KB articles to ensure that the Migration technicians are aware of new workflows and processes in real time. 
  • Oversee and aid in the training of team members by creating and following through on training plans through the Migrations team 30,60,90-day process
  • Escalate Relativity-related issues to Lighthouse Application Support if needed.
  • Perform migrations of Relativity ARMs from external sources by performing ARM restorations, field analysis and workspace normalization to Lighthouse standards.
  • Execute Migrations-related tasks in Relativity, Brainspace, Relativity Analytics, Lighthouse Analytics, and other Lighthouse proprietary tools as needed.
  • Run SQL queries in SSMS for long-running processes unable to run on the front end of Relativity.
  • Follow and maintain utilization tracking for hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Associates degree (bachelors preferred) or equivalent job experience.
  • 5+ years’ industry experience.
  • Understanding of workflow processes and downstream impacts. 
  • Basic SQL proficiency (queries, relationships, and aggregators).
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
  • Must have a positive attitude and growth mindset.
  • Willing to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment. 
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and resourcefulness.
  • A background in computers, statistics or mathematics is a strong plus.
  • Experience in eDiscovery with proficiency in Relativity is a strong plus.
  • Relativity Certified Administrator is required; Relativity Certified Expert is preferred.

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.  Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.

Duties may require occasionally working outside normal business hours (evenings and weekends).

The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.

 

The expected pay for this role will range from $64,687 to $105,000 per year.  This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
