Greenheart encompasses three main branches: Greenheart Exchange, Greenheart Travel, and Greenheart Shop.

 

Summary:

The Enrollment Department is responsible for approving and enrolling Greenheart Exchange U.S.-bound cultural exchange visitors on the J-1 Secondary School, Summer Work Travel, Teacher, Intern and Trainee programs.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about cultural exchange, has great attention to detail but also sees the bigger picture, and wants to work with a committed but fun-loving team that drives for results.

 

Some things you might do as Coordinator, Enrollment.

  • Process participant applications, ensure that all information is complete and correct, and review documents submitted to Greenheart.
  • Follow up on applications as needed and resolve stakeholder concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct change queue review and process changes to existing applications. 
  • Serve as an Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) and a signatory on T/IPPs, DS-2019 forms, and other official documents.
  • Manage SEVIS batching and manual processing in SEVIS (Student & Exchange Visitor Information System).
  • Conduct program or partner stakeholder trainings, including trainings on the online application system and resources.
  • Apply application and program fees during the application review.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and respond to stakeholder communications.
  • Conduct candidate interviews to determine English speaking and comprehension skills, and to answer participant questions.
  • Participate in collaborative/team projects to improve processes, build relationships, and ensure good communication.
  • Assist with Compliance- and Operations-related responsibilities.
  • Assist in the development and revision of Greenheart procedures, policies, and program materials. 
  • Be ‘on-call’ approximately once every six weeks to carry the emergency cell phone and to answer calls routed through the phone service.
  • Participate in Greenheart meetings and conferences.

 

Some qualifications you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
  • Skill in communicating across cultural and linguistic differences
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Experience with cultural exchange, especially J-1 visa programs, a big plus
  • Experience working in cultural exchange, especially J-1 visa programs, a big plus
