Capture Manager 

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI)
 is an international, ISO 9001:2015 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 34 years of experience in the Federal, military, and commercial marketplaces. SRI is seeking an experienced Capture Manager.

Summary: This position will be focused on the identification and capture of potential new business by leveraging customer relationships and personal experience to identify and assess potential business opportunities that result in measurable revenue growth. The position is expected to manage capture activities for key engagements, identify gaps and emerging requirements, assess and recommend teaming partners, perform market and economic analysis, conduct business intelligence, design and execute formal capture plans, and monitor competitor activity for each capture. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Conducts Capture Management activities for assigned or suggested opportunities. 
  •  Supports overall strategic planning and linking pursuits/capture activities. 
  •  Assumes responsibility for specific capture activities such as technical approach, teaming, competitive intelligence, pricing, and overall win strategy. 
  •  Briefs capture status to management at specified milestones in the capture process. 
  •  Identifies leads and new business opportunities – leveraging past relationships/accounts. 
  •  Establishes and meet new business targets. 
  •  Supports leadership in penetrating existing businesses and developing new businesses in strategic business offering areas. 
  •  Establishes solid relationships and partnerships with key prime contractor organizations as well as sub-contractors on existing and new programs. 
  •  Develops and maintain a healthy and aggressive opportunity pipeline sufficient to support the strategic growth goals of the company. 
  •  Develops strategic account plans including customer profiles, targeted programs, weekly, monthly, quarterly forecasts, and action items.

Minimum Requirements

  •  BS/BA degree (or 4 years of related experience)
  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting successful business development and leading capture efforts in a government environment 
  •  Experience in leading large proposal efforts. 
  •  Experience at both large and small Federal contractors
  •  Knowledge of and experience with Federal environment, proposal, acquisition, and budgeting processes 
  •  Ability to gain internal support and operate independently with limited supervision and feedback. 
  •  Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, managers, and peers in the company. 
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. 
  •  Very strong organizational and writing skills are critical. 
  •  Demonstrated ability to drive capture and generate revenue. 
  •  Ability to think critically, strategically, creatively, and systematically. 
  •  Willingness to conduct cold calls and prospect for new business using innovative ideas. 
  •  Highly motivated, goal-driven and results-oriented 
  • Ability to network with Government officials at all levels.
