Oracle Fusion Security Specialist (with PaaS and EPM Expertise)

Important:
- This is a FULLY REMOTE WORKING role, reporting to Line Managers of the Client in the US / Europe.
- Expected Work timings are from 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM IST (Usually 5 days working: Mon - Fri)
- 3rd party payroll/ consultant: The candidate can be either a Full-time Employee or a Full-time Consultant with an Indian company
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion Security Specialist with expertise in Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions within the Oracle Fusion Cloud, PaaS, and EPM environments. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle applications, security configurations, and compliance standards to ensure the protection of sensitive enterprise data across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Design & Implementation:
- Design and implement security solutions within Oracle Fusion Cloud, PaaS, and EPM, including user roles, data security, and segregation of duties.
- Develop and manage security policies, procedures, and standards in line with industry best practices across Oracle Fusion, PaaS, and EPM environments.
- Configure and maintain security settings to ensure compliance with organizational security requirements.
User Access Management:
- Administer user access, roles, and permissions within Oracle Fusion, PaaS, and EPM applications.
- Monitor and manage user provisioning, ensuring that access is granted appropriately and promptly across all platforms.
- Conduct regular audits of user access and roles to ensure alignment with security policies.
PaaS & EPM Security:
- Implement and manage security controls specific to Oracle PaaS and EPM environments.
- Work closely with development and EPM teams to ensure secure deployment of applications and services within PaaS.
- Ensure EPM processes and data are securely managed, and access controls are appropriately enforced.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure that security configurations meet all relevant compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR) across Oracle Fusion, PaaS, and EPM platforms.
- Identify and mitigate security risks within these environments.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during security reviews and audits.
-Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor security logs and alerts from Oracle Fusion, PaaS, and EPM environments, investigating and responding to security incidents.
- Prepare and present regular security reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.
- Implement and maintain security monitoring tools to enhance the visibility of security threats across all platforms.
Training & Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on Oracle Fusion, PaaS, and EPM security best practices.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to resolve security-related issues and enhance the overall security posture.
- Stay updated on the latest Oracle Fusion, PaaS, and EPM security features and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in Oracle Fusion Security, including PaaS and EPM environments.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion applications, PaaS, and EPM, particularly in security configuration and user access management.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Fusion Security, CISSP, Oracle Cloud Platform Security) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Identity Management (OIM) and Oracle Access Management (OAM).
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices, particularly within PaaS environments.
- Experience in a multi-module Oracle Fusion environment (e.g., ERP, HCM, SCM).
- Familiarity with Oracle EPM Cloud Security and related tools.
