About Braven

Braven is a career-accelerating program that prepares promising young people—many of whom are people of color, from low income backgrounds, and the first in their families to attend college—to secure a strong first opportunity after college graduation.

We work with higher education and employer partners to offer a life-changing experience that begins with a semester-long course for college students followed by support that lasts through graduation.

Together, we are helping to open up access to the American Promise, empowering a generation of leaders who mirror the diversity of our country.

About the Role

Braven is seeking Part-Time Substitute Leadership Coaches (LCs) to facilitate Braven’s Accelerator Learning Labs when there are LC absences. A Substitute LC will lead a two-hour virtual class for a cohort of 5-8 Fellows (mostly first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented college students) using an established curriculum. In this role, you will gain teaching and facilitation experience while impacting the lives of hundreds of college students.

Training will be provided.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate virtual Accelerator Learning Labs as a substitute for absent LCs
  • Prepare to facilitate Braven content by meeting with the Braven team and practicing independently
  • Attend all LC trainings (~6 total training hours) to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to facilitate Learning Labs and work with Fellows effectively
