Senior DBMS Specialist/Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all production databases' operational reliability, integrity, and performance.
• Perform back-up and recovery of existing databases, performance monitoring, and tuning.
• Perform database installations and upgrades and ensure the security of confidential data.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions along with periodic maintenance, fixes, and patches of databases.
• Perform business needs analysis, write reporting requirements, and turn requirements into delivered solutions.
• Assist users in writing complex queries and reports.

Qualifications

Education: 

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

Experience:

• At least three years of experience using current DBMS technologies, application design utilizing various database management systems, and experience with DBMS internals.
• Must have five years of experience in DBMS systems analysis and programming.

Attain Partners is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging from $75,000 - $120,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
