Reporting to the Supervisor, Provider Services, the Operations Support Analyst provides resolution to client issues that require more in-depth knowledge of the technology, platform, products and/or processes. Issues are typically identified by the Client Services Team and can include complicated electronic data interchange (EDI) claim errors and transmission problems.

To be qualified for this position you have:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 2 or more years of work experience as a Client Services Representative at Availity (if internal), with an emphasis on technical skills   

  • ANSI transaction experience

  • Ability to read ANSI guides

  • Experience supporting EDI/X12 transactions

  • You have experience working with Essentials Pro

  • Strong analytical thinking and skillset

You will be:

  • Interacting with trading partners as well as direct-connect payers to facilitate resolution to client issues.

  • Supporting the development of client support documentation as needed.

  • Interacting closely with other team members in Availity to provide the highest quality of customer service.

  • Serving as the subject matter expert and liaison between Operations, Customers, and the Availity Development team, handling more advanced technical issues as they arise.

  • Provides training to first level support representatives as necessary to facilitate rapid resolution of client issues.

  • May be called upon to serve in multiple roles and perform other duties, projects, or activities as specified by their management.
