Organization:

SDMC-Sutter Delta Medical Center

Position Overview:

Responsible for the overall strategic focus and operational planning for the activities and resources of the Pharmacy Department. Provides leadership and administrative support in operations, budget planning, and high cost pharmacy product purchases. Ensures optimal provision and coordination of services and resources and oversees implementation of patient medication safety strategies. Ensures utilization of best practice clinical programs and cost savings initiatives to operations and standardizes processes where appropriate.

EDUCATION:

Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

PHARMD-Licensed Pharmacist


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

12 years recent relevant experience.

Pay Range is $105.00 to $168.00 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
