GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an International Account Manager in our sales organization to support accounts within our international portfolio, and seek new business development in Canada, Australia and beyond. On the Naterra International Sales Team, you will be able to own and influence the relationship with some of our top retailers, Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart and Woolworths.  You will be a valuable team member that supports the organization experimenting with assortment, data analysis, and implementation and development of promotional and marketing strategies.  This role presents an opportunity to collaborate and grow within the organization.

Please note that the person in this role will be required to work in-office at our Coppell TX or Alliance TX locations. Remote or hybrid work options are not available for this position.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Develop and strengthen business relationships with top key international retailers, special emphasis at Loblaw / Shoppers Drug Mart Canada / Woolworths Australia.
  • Manage and deliver business objectives: Net Sales, profit, efficient funds Investment, payment, distribution & market share.
  • Provide ongoing tracking, analysis, and measurement of business trends and growth opportunities and leverage to optimize product mix and inventory levels.
  •  Support the execution of strategic planning through close collaboration and partnership with all internal and external teams.
  • Ability to understand multiple retailers go-to-market strategies – as evidenced by the ability to shift strategies and solutions as required.
  •  Resolve customer service issues and build strong relationships.
  • Forecast shipment and consumption patterns aligned to Naterra’s Fiscal Year planning calendar and the retailer/customer plans.
  •  Manage and analyze trade funds to efficiently drive the business within the expense budget.
  •  Develop promotional strategies to help maximize sales opportunities.
  •  Utilize data and insights in preparation for all line reviews.
  • Take an active role in preparing and providing quarterly business reviews both internally and with the retail customer.
  • Attend retailer meetings and various trade shows as required.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • 5+ years working in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry in Sales, Demand Planning, Category management, or Customer/ Account Management.
  • Experience working within international accounts such as Mexico and Canada is highly preferred.
  •  Bachelor’s Degree
  •   Analytic experience and curiosity for the business.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a track record of finding solutions to complex problems.
  •  Knowledge and general understanding of CPG industry.
  •  Experience working within a P&L scorecard and tracking trade spend.
  • Proven customer management experience- as evidence by previous roles with responsibility for customer strategy and execution.
  • Excellent knowledge of sales analysis and metrics including retailer specific POS systems, Syndicated data sources like Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, or Tableau.
  • Critical thinking skills, not limited to piecing together data analysis to help create a sales story that is relatable to the specific retailer.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tell a cohesive, fact-based sales story.
