Your missions

Overview:

A lovely family of five living in TriBeCa, NY is seeking a full-time housekeeper/nanny to assist with care of their home and children. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm. There will be other caregivers to help with the afternoon shuffle.

Responsibilities:

Household cleaning, including deep cleaning, tidying, and sanitizing
Family laundry- clothing and linens
Family cooking- preparing dinner several times per week and cleaning up afterwards
Disposing of trash, opening boxes and deliveries and breaking down boxes for service area
Making beds and changing linens for bedrooms and bathrooms
Shopping for groceries and other household supplies
Organizing closets, toys, and kitchen shelves and cabinets
Communicating with the family about any issues or household needs
Childcare including accompanying to school and other activitie, occasionally hosting or accompanying him to playdates

Qualifications:

Experience and comfort working with or around children
Looking for a long-term commitment; the family would like to find someone to be with the family for many years
Proactive and able to prioritize household and childcare duties
Meticulous and detail-oriented (the family is very conscious of cleanliness, and requires someone who is willing to sanitize household items regularly)
Comfortable working with a very involved work-from-home mother and other staff
Calm, patient, and warm with children
