The Molten Metal Systems business of Morgan Advanced Materials manufactures an extensive range of high-performance crucibles and foundry consumables for non-ferrous metal melting applications We provide melting solutions for foundries, die-casters and melting facilities working with zinc, precious metals, aluminium, copper, brass, bronze and other non-ferrous metals.

Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Research and collect market intelligence necessary for targeting new growth opportunities & growing existing accounts.
  • Develop detailed strategies, goals, & objectives to advance short- and long-term goals in line with MCI growth initiatives.
  • Interface with end user accounts & distributors as necessary to grow revenue and achieve annual sales targets.
  • Identify ways to effectively support distributors within the terms of distributor agreements. Evaluate distributor performance against distributor agreement terms, case/warranty execution, collaborative performance, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for trials within key market segments at end users and distributors. This may include, but is not limited to, detailed collaboration with Morgan engineering & R&D.
  • Provide support data necessary for customer service, planning, shipping, & finance necessary for the team’s success.
  • Complete all reporting and administrative responsibilities within appropriate timelines and/or by assigned deadlines.
  • Actively cultivate a positive & collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Education & Acquired Knowledge: 

  • Diverse knowledge in technical account management and sales techniques.
  • Advanced time management skills.
  • “Value Added” sales techniques focusing on development of relationships around capability of advanced product rather than price competitive selling.
  • Basic computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Dynamics CRM, and data management.

 

Experience: 

  • Outside sales in an indirectly supervised/remote role.
  • General understanding of industrial market and client base.
  • Sales and market support providing technical presentations, connecting customers to appropriate resources, and development of customer relationships utilizing technical advantages.
  • Advanced organization skills to assist with planning, execution of key objectives, and development of sales.
