Your missions

Role Overview:

As one of the most senior members in the team, you are responsible for delivering results on our largest clients as well as supporting, developing and growing the Organic Team to be one of Europe’s finest. You are a key contributor to driving organic innovation, fostering growth for both the team and yourself. You lead on  our clients organic strategy, by consistently consulting with key stakeholders, working collaboratively with specialists to deliver overarching plans, alongside confidently reporting on performance and success. 


Purpose:

  • To support the agency’s mission in providing exceptional and holistic digital marketing services, with a focus on organic search
  • To drive innovation, collaboration, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals
  • To embody and promote the company’s values and maintain a positive workplace culture 
  • To support with sales and marketing efforts, client satisfaction, and product development initiatives


Responsibilities: 

  • Owns overall organic strategy and roadmap, leading organic strategy within our client facing squads
  • Thinking beyond Google - producing strategies which extend across the entire organic search ecosystem
  • Manages organic strategies end-to-end including research, implementation and reporting
  • Acts as the lead organic contact on a wide variety of client accounts, ensuring best practice is consistently adhered to
  • Prioritises activities across the organic team based on client’s performance, KPI’s and impact.
  • Identifies new opportunities and connects organic plans to business plans
  • Contributes to organic thought leadership and delivers industry and specialist insights that are valued by our clients and peers
  • Performs high standard of SEO deliverables such as keyword research based on SERP intent, content on-page optimisations, cannibalisation audits, performance analysis etc.
  • In-depth understanding of ‘best-in-class’ technical SEO audits, identifying and subsequently helping clients fix any issues.


Works closely with:

  • Digital PR, SEO Tech Specialists and Content Teams developing and implementing content, technical solutions and link building strategies.
  • The Creative Team, ensuring organic and SEO best practices are being implemented
  • The Paid Media Team, developing integrated search strategies for clients.
  • The Development Team, ensuring organic and SEO best practices follow best practices.
  • The Account Managers and Sales Teams, supporting with new business and upsell opportunities, including large client pitches
  • The Head of Organic in identifying service improvements and contributing to the objectives of the Organic team as well as mentoring and training peers


Communication & Collaboration:

  • Foster open communication and teamwork across departments
  • Engage in regular check-ins and updates with team members, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and clarity on project deliverables
  • Consults with clients and reports on organic performance tied to business goals


Management:

  • Peer Review the work of other team members, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Develop and implement team strategies that support both client objectives and agency goals
  • Manage the allocation of resources for your clients to optimise productivity.


Product Development & Innovation:

  • Contribute to the development of new digital products and services
  • Bring innovative ideas to enhance current offerings, ensuring they align with market trends and client needs
  • Ensure seamless integration of new tools and processes


KPIs: 

All KPIs are measured monthly and targeted quarterly. 


Project Success & Timeliness:

  • Completion of projects within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Achievement of project goals and client satisfaction metrics

Performance:

  • Productivity with 65% billable work contributions
  • Personal employee engagement and adoption of people initiatives and tools

Requirements:


  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices
  • Proven SEO background, minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Works in unity with others to meet client goals and retain client accounts
  • Ability to thrive and enjoy a dynamic, high-paced environment while juggling multiple projects in parallel
  • Takes ownership in getting any issues resolved
  • Embodies and practices radical candour - the ability to give effective constructive feedback to team members and colleagues when required
  • Sets up their colleagues for success as standard, being the teammate everyone wants by their side
  • Keeps up to date with SEO industry trends and developments
  • Confident in cascading experience and knowledge to the rest of the team

  • Experience using industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Semrush
