Your missions

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting, closing, and maintaining customers in your region or assigned segment. You will be seeking new opportunities for electrical vehicle chargers, backup battery power, and other related products. This role will be a key contributor to Star Charge’s growth so we are looking for people who are easy to work with, have a passion for EV, and who can grow relationships with customers of all sizes. This person will part of our Petroleum and Convenience Store team.

This position is primarily remote, working out of a home office. Regular travel to customer locations, as well as Star Charge offices on the West Coast are expected. This person needs to be located in a major metropolitan area in the Southwest region (Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah).

Responsibilities

· Find and capture new business with new clients in the assigned region or segment

· Conduct customer pitch meetings to qualify customers

· Maintain long term relationships with customers to maximize wallet share

· Utilize CRM and other tools to maintain customer records and forecast sales pipeline

· Lead RFP/ RFQ responses, working with internal cross functional teams to complete on time

· Prepare reports for major customer meetings, trade shows, and other events

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree

· 5-10+ years in high value sales

· Demonstrated ability to grow business

· Ability to write clearly and concisely in a professional manner

· Ability to work in a diverse team or independently in complex situations

· Willingness to travel regularly to customer meeting, trade shows, and corporate meetings

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail
