The role will provide help to sites and ensuring processes are standardized and implemented across all sites, Divisions, and BUs. It will also drive the sustainability of the processes in SAP within the organization, train users and SMEs, and ensure the appropriate level of documentation (Policies, SOPs, Work Instructions) are in place and embedded into the LONZA Quality System.

This role will focus on and support the SAP E2E Execution Blueprint Certification Program by working with the sites, supporting and helping them mitigate gaps, all to get certified and eventually meet MRP II Class A.

This role requires extensive SAP knowledge in all facets of SAP. It requires the ability to speak, act, share, learn and teach SAP. mIt requires assistance via remotely as well as on-site. Is an SAP expert in execution; i.e., plan to make (end to end) processes involving master data, process orders, MRP, purchase orders, warehouse/ material movements, quality. Has knowledge in supply chain processes, offers solutions. Leads and supports Associate Director of Global Supply Chain Solutions and SAP Execution. Determines the level of help and support needed and mobilizes the Team when needed

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess Supply Chain Processes across Sites and Divisions/ BUs
  • Through assessments and discussions, defines gap analysis, develop action plan, help to implement.
  • Support the SAP E2E Execution Blueprint Certification Program in order to get sites certified
  • Is able to understand the Supply Chain and SAP issue at hand and recommend solution that fit the standard practices
  • Help on addressing Audit Findings/ Observations
  • Help fix Site Issues – Liaise with IT
  • Standardize and Harmonize Processes
  • Develop and align on new processes (standard) – Roll-Out and Train
  • Ensure Integrated Processes across Divisions are Harmonized
  • Write SOPs/ WI – Roll-Out and Train
  • Leads and plans the help needed at a site; liaising and mobilization with the site

Key requirements:

  • Degree in Life science with strong supply chain background experience in a site environment
  • At least various years of work experience in multiple Supply Chain site functions with a strong focus on planning, execution and logistics processes
  • SME in SAP / SAPS/4Hana is a plus
  • Masters APICS CPIM professional standards. Subject matter expert for planning and execution
  • Ability to establish and track project delivery. Proven experience with handling multiple global and complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflicts
  • Good communication and presentation skills, ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven ability to lead up and influencing and coaching people on all hierarchy levels
  • Ideally a manufacturing or technical experience demonstrating a self-starting and hands-on quality
  • Excellent communication skills to lead and support empowered employees and leaders in a multi-cultural team environment
