Partnerships Lead @ Clay

Partnerships are at the heart of Clay’s growth model. We are looking for a leader who can acquire, retain, and expand our integration and agency partners. You will own the relationship with our most strategic partners and build scalable processes for our long-tail partners. You’ll collaborate closely with co-marketing, co-selling, and integration leads at Clay. While partnerships have helped build Clay to what it is today, you know exactly what it takes to 10x partner-sourced revenue in 2025.

What You’ll Do
  • Scale ARR by 10x from ecosystem and agency partners. Every partner at Clay influences revenue in some capacity. One may drive webinar leads into the funnel. Another may deepen product usage of Clay. Another may drive leads through an affiliate deal. You will be accountable for expanding partner-driven revenue by 10x at Clay. 

  • Own the strategic relationships across all partner types. Strategic ecosystem and agency partners are the 10% of partners who drive 90% of the results. Ecosystem partners include companies like HubSpot, Zapier, Salesforce, Typeform, OpenAI, Anthropic, and 80+ others. Agency partners include ColdIQ, RevPartners, Go Nimbly, Leanscale and dozens of others. 

  • Collaborate with co-marketing, co-selling, and integration leads. You will not regularly create co-marketing material, sales enablement decks, or build technical integration documentation. Instead, you will partner with teammates at Clay who own these specific functions. You focus on the relationships with partners to ensure they have what they need to drive revenue. 

  • Build a partnerships team from scratch. We currently have over 500 different partners at Clay. There is an opportunity to build a partnerships team from the ground up, where you can influence the roadmap from the beginning.

What You’ll Bring
  • You’re a builder at heart. You have built and scaled partnership motions from scratch. Multiple times. You’ve scaled partner motions from $0 to $50M+ in partner-sourced revenue. You have the itch to go do it again. 

  • You’ve got friends. You have strong relationships already across dozens of top B2B SaaS companies. You’re consistently meeting up with people on Zoom, chatting on LinkedIn, and meeting up at conferences. You get energy by helping people in the B2B SaaS ecosystem reach their goals. 

  • You’re impatient, but kind. You like to move fast. Speed is our competitive advantage. Activity drives results and we want to disrupt the market quick. We need someone who’s willing to be at this pace with us. 

  • You’re still tactical (and a little technical). You know what <h2> and <div> means. You make design edits in Google Slides. You can speak API language. While you understand a team helps you move faster, you are not dependent on other people to do the work. Despite your primary role is pushing relationships forward, you still love to build and ship. 

  • Team management experience. You have built partner teams from scratch. You have learned from your mistakes and doubled down on your wins. You have processes (and opinions) on how to build a winning team.

Based out of a central office on 19th Street in Manhattan's Flatiron District. We love the energy of in-person collaboration while also offering the flexibility to work from home when needed.
