Finance Intern - Remote

Overview:

The primary purpose of this position is to gain experience while providing support to essential Financing Planning & Analysis functions. This position will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Hourly Rate: $15 - $20

• Produce presentation decks and substantiate content with supporting data/documentation
• Create, file, and maintain electronic documents in a shared network drive
• Document processes and procedures for continued systems improvements
• Assist in building financial and business unit Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast reports
• Assist in preparing forecasts and analyze trends in revenue and other key business indicators
• Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
• Assist with month and quarter close activities and reporting processes
• Assist with preparing ad-hoc analysis and business case modeling
• Engage in continuous process improvement efforts to streamline financial processes, financial planning, and budget management processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure the execution/implementation of ad hoc projects and tasks as requested
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

• Current sophomore, junior, or senior in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Finance or Accounting
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate level of experience in Excel
