Job Description:

The National Account Manager will be responsible for building, maintaining and growing local, regional and national business partner relationships with insurance carriers. This role will also be responsible for ensuring internal customers understand and comply with all Direct Repair Programs (DRP) that the company enters into. The National Account Manager will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales.

Job Responsibilities:

Insurance Partner Relationship Management

  • The National Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for several insurance partners including responsibility for service recovery issues and DRP compliance by:

    • Monitoring performance of repair centers and bringing awareness to the operating teams for areas requiring attention.

    • Scheduling and coordinating meetings with insurance staff and internal customers to review program progress and opportunities.

    • Taking and publishing meeting notes as needed, including documenting agreed to action items and responsibilities.

    • Maintaining strong relations with insurance partners when staffing changes take place, including meeting any communication requirements of our partners.

    • Contacting clients via telephone and email on a regular basis.

  • Monitor DOMO to gather performance data for presentations to insurance partners.

Internal Customer Support

  • Assisting in implementing new DRP roll outs. Including educating internal customers  regarding the program’s parameters.

  • Assume responsibility for service recovery issues for their assigned region, in coordination with internal customers

  • Participate in weekly operations team meetings and provide client updates and feedback

    • Implement and monitor action plans as necessary. Report progress internally and to insurance partners

  • Tracking internal compliance and performance for all DRP agreements

  • Contacting clients to determine their interest in expansion locations and what level of revenue we can anticipate.

Market Trends

  • The National Account Manager will be responsible for reviewing and understanding labor rates and other market trends in order to improve the company’s gross margins and financial performance.

  • In order to communicate the benefits of working with Gerber the National Account Manager will have a complete understanding of the company’s and our competition’s performance metrics in their assigned area. Including but not limited customer satisfaction, cycle time, length of rental, repair quality and severity metrics

Job Requirements:

Education: 4-year degree is preferred.

Previous Business to Business (B2B) sales experience
