Our TMS community consists of just over 300 people who are spread internationally across APAC, LATAM, EMEA and NA.

About the role

The TMS Global community is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Manager to join our client team in Mexico City on a permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee all logistics activities and shipping operations, ensuring compliance with import documentation, managing relationships with third-party logistics providers, and leading the development of new logistics solutions for both existing and new clients.

Some daily responsibilities will include-

  • Manage import/export activities, ensuring high service levels and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and manage import documentation.
  • Liaise with clients to provide timely updates and resolve logistics issues.
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, warehouses, and customs authorities.
  •  Audit and improve shipping processes to minimise costs and delays.
  • Train customer service teams on trade compliance and support various departments.

About you

You’re a logistics professional with over 5 years of experience, possessing a solid understanding of cross-border trade and customs regulations. You excel at ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. Fluent in English, you communicate effectively with clients, customs authorities, and third-party providers. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at problem-solving. Comfortable using tools like MS Teams and Excel, you know how to manage relationships and optimise processes.
