Position Summary

As a Digital Marketing Manager at HackerOne, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth. In this role, you will lead SEM and SEO strategy and work closely with Web Marketing, Campaign and Social Media team members. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage digital channels effectively and optimize campaign performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our digital marketing initiatives and contribute to the success of our organization.


What You Will Do
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various channels, including SEO, paid search, and programmatic display advertising.

  • Manage and optimize digital campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead generation, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost (CAC).

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product marketing, sales, and content teams, to align digital marketing initiatives with business objectives and target audience needs.

  • Analyze keyword data for SEO/SEM program optimization and website alignment. 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for campaign optimization and audience targeting.

  • Analyze digital marketing performance data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to inform future strategy and decision-making.

  • Stay informed about emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and innovation.

  • Manage digital marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with financial goals.

Minimum Qualifications  
  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on B2B marketing preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing channels and platforms, including paid search and display advertising.

  • Experience with SEO/keyword research tools

  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and digital advertising platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities to evaluate campaign performance and optimize strategies.

  • Ability to own a budget and manage Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative digital marketing solutions and strategies.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

  • Must be based remotely in US or Canada. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) principles and practices.

  • Certification or training in digital marketing or related field (e.g., Google Ads certification, HubSpot certification).

  • Background in cybersecurity marketing
