We are currently searching for a Remote Network Security Specialist:

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to LAN/WAN.
Configure network devices and resolve issues with TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, DHCP, and DNS.
Troubleshoot and maintain firewall devices, perform upgrades, and manage Palo Alto firewalls.
Troubleshoot and resolve wireless connectivity issues and configure wireless controllers with Cisco and Ruckus technologies.
Monitor and optimize networks using tools like Total View or similar NMS systems, performing health checks to ensure network stability.
Troubleshoot VoIP and unified communications, including Cisco on-premise and RingCentral Cloud, and manage POTS line issues with vendors.
Work with various vendors, including ISPs and onsite contractors, to resolve network issues.
Create and maintain network documentation, such as SOPs, ensuring it reflects the current state of the network infrastructure.

Requirements:

Expertise with network technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, DHCP, DNS, Cisco, Ruckus, and Arista.
Experience with network security and Palo Alto firewalls.
Proficiency in SD-WAN, IPSEC, and wireless technologies (Cisco, Ruckus).
Familiarity with wireless protocols (802.11X, MAB, CAPWAP).
Knowledge of network monitoring systems (Total View or similar).
Experience with VoIP, unified communications (Cisco UC, RingCentral), and vendor management.

Languages

Advanced Oral English.
Native Spanish.
