2025 DIRECTV for Business Digital and Sports Marketing Internship

Dive into the B2B Marketing world as a summer of 2025 intern! The work our team does impacts the DIRECTV for Business customer directly: establishing and reinforcing our premium brand and Leader in Sports positioning, utilizing our web site to pull in the business owners making entertainment decisions for their business plus educating current customers on the product and content offers, and strategically incorporating paid digital media to grow our business base of customers.

Depending on your interests and area of study, you’ll get the chance to work with one of our teams: (digital experience or sports marketing) on projects that help drive the future of DIRECTV. Wherever you may land, you will get the chance to put your education and skills to the test and see real world effects!

In this role, you may work on:

  • Analyze website and make recommendations on user experience enhancements, specifically, marketing user flow.
  • Drill down on website experience measuring productivity and evaluating the effectiveness of the website; make recommendations on how to improve.
  • Analyze and review marketing campaigns for sports growth in the digital space.
  • Make recommendations on sports marketing strategy and campaign execution, including creative, messaging and tactical management.
  • Analyzing product trends in the commercial sports space and give recommendations on promotional strategy.
  • Learn how marketing campaigns and offers are strategized, created, and executed to market.

Majors/Concentrations we’re looking for:

  • Digital Marketing/Marketing
  • Communications
  • UI/UX
  • Open to all Business degrees

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Comfortable with and strong interest in understanding data (trend reports, usage reports)
  • Experience in virtual, cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience speaking with and presenting to leaders
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize
  • Skillful in written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and able to hold oneself accountable to tasks in a virtual environment
  • Paid media experience (paid search, SCO, Social) is a bonus
  • Avid sports fan and acumen is a bonus

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote

10 week internship program. 6/2/25 - 8/8/25 or 6/16/25 - 8/22/25.

Position requires full US work authorization now and in the future.

This position can earn $19 - $20 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers.
