Position summary:
As a Senior Product Manager you will deliver successful products in our rapidly changing ecosystem consisting of ad tech, audience management and/or performance marketing within the travel space. The Senior Product Manager will know what it means to own a product and desire to be in a position of personal responsibility for your product’s growth and ongoing success. You will build and ship data-driven products, owning the process from ideation to rollout, and post roll out management. You'll build relations with technical and non-technical internal customers; some of which would be Engineering leaders to approve specifications or Data Scientists to get their innovations into your product.
You are a natural problem solver, have a “no excuses” mentality and generally maintain a positive outlook when difficulties arise. You have excellent time management skills, and possess the ability to focus intently on a given product or feature and work relentlessly to design the “right” product.
You are analytical, comfortable with technology and have a strong business acumen. You have strong experience with managing digital campaigns across digital, search and social channels & working with large data sets.
What you will do:
- Own the product roadmap and success for Sojern’s campaign automation and optimization tools.
- Responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle management responsibilities: ideation, stakeholder management, stakeholder feedback, data science test prioritization, product development, rollout/go-to-market strategy, managing a backlog and ongoing, continuous innovation for your product(s)
- Collaborate closely with other PMs, business leaders, and engineering.
- Gather requirements from product marketing managers, PMs, data scientists, sciopts analysts, campaign analysts and leadership.
- Prioritize backlogs, manage sprints, and deliver product features in an agile environment
- Present product roadmap reviews to the company on a regular basis
- Manage product documentation and keep relevant resources up to date
- Participate in training sessions for core users of the automation and optimization tools
- Ensure product success through continuous performance tracking/monitoring and continuous process improvement
- Provide thought leadership toward innovation and staying ahead of industry trends
What you bring to the table:
- 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3+ years as a Product Manager
- Experienced in SQL to aid in analysis and comfortably navigate large data sets
- Samples of product requirements that you can share, or the ability to otherwise demonstrate personal excellence in this area
- Strong knowledge of programmatic advertising and a clear understanding of campaign setups, budget management, best practices.
- Detailed understanding of display, social, search and metasearch advertising changes.
- A strong technical acumen (explicit engineering background not required)
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or similar experience. Strong preference given for computer science (CS) or business undergraduate degrees (BS, BBA). An MBA/MS is also highly desirable

- Travel sector experience
- Experience working with online audiences and targeting tools
- Direct experience with DSPs like DV360, Xandr, Meta, Google Ads etc
- Previous engineering experience or demonstrable computer science background
- Experience working with data and applied scientists and analyzing test result outputs.
- Previous work in strategy or management consulting
