What you’ll do:

 

This role is responsible for developing and customizing all technical aspects of Salesforce and will collaborate with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to determine requirements and translate them into business needs in order to design, configure, test, and deploy effective tools within the Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud Environments. Strong knowledge of system integrations, including AWS, Zuora, Jira and AppExchange packages. 

 

In addition, this role will participate in the review of the source code, and participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospection.

 

Minimum requirements:

 

  • Salesforce Performance Edition (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud), product knowledge with no less than 5 years of Salesforce development experience in highly customized Salesforce orgs
  • Experience in all phases of AGILE development and SDLC including analysis, design, coding, unit testing, integration, maintenance, and quality assurance/performance testing
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Data modeling, profile/permission set management, and security management experience
  • Experience developing in Apex, Aura, LWC, Visualforce, web services, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, formulas, validation rules and sharing settings 
  • Experience working with bulkification of triggers and batch jobs for performing functions on large data sets
  • Experience working with data transformations and integrations using SOAP & REST APIs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be creative, resourceful and able to think outside the box
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Excellent track record in programming in Java-centric technologies for web applications ideally for large, enterprise-wide solutions

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II 
    • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
    • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
  • Experience working with Marketing Cloud, JIRA, Confluence, and Github
  • Experience working with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset)
  • Competency in other languages / development (XML, Flex, JavaScript, .NET, SQL, C++, SOAP-based web services
  • Custom Integration and managed packages to include but not limited to (Zuora, Ring Central, NICE Incontact CXone, Talend, Domo, Contentful)

 

What you will be working on:

 

  • Develop and integrate native and custom Salesforce applications using modern web technologies
  • Hands-on development with Apex triggers and classes, Flows, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components
  • Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems using web services and Salesforce APIs, including SOAP, REST, Bulk, and Streaming
  • Resolve production issues while being a hands-on expert on all things Salesforce
  • Scale the Salesforce platform, user experience and data flows
  • Key POC for technical requirements, configuration, and implementation of Salesforce
  • Assist a team of developers, analysts, administrators, and architects but be able to work independently.
