Are you our new Accounts Payable Specialist?

In your role as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Intrum in Athens, your responsibilities will be pivotal in ensuring the prompt and accurate processing and posting of invoices and expense claims, along with effective management of exceptions.

What will you do:

  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Accurately coding of invoices according to process flow, service and quality requirements
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and records
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Resolve any discrepancies or variances between records
  • Perform periodical reconciliation and internal control tasks
  • Reconciliation of vendor balances
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency in processing or analyzing financial information

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration
  • Professional experience within accounting or similar discipline
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • It’s a plus if you bring:
  • Experience with ERPs (Knowledge of Workday, Navision/Exflow accounting system)
  • Experience in German, Spanish or any other European language
