Your missions

Description

In this role, you will be an integral part of our Loan Servicing team, focusing on quality control and pre-closing secondary market tasks. Under the guidance of the Loan Servicing Manager, you will oversee daily operations of the secondary market desk and monitor residential and consumer loan activities to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner to employees, customers, and the community.
  • Accurately and promptly update daily mortgage and equity interest rates in our loan origination system and website.
  • Manage the lock desk operations, which includes confirming rate locks, processing investor contracts, and monitoring the contract pipeline.
  • Ensure timely delivery of loan sales in the secondary market, meeting all deadlines and delivering necessary documentation.
  • Handle all investor quality control requests by collecting and delivering the requested documentation.
  • Manage post-closing conditions by ensuring timely delivery of trailing documents and conducting thorough document reviews for all closed residential and consumer loans.
  • Monitor compliance with loan setup reviews and maintain data integrity checkpoints.
  • Review and validate critical file maintenance in a timely manner for the department.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly self-monitoring reports, while seeking to improve current processes and controls to help identify errors and enhance efficiency.
  • Perform all duties in line with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of experience in the residential secondary market, with expertise in closing and servicing portfolios, including FHLMC and FNMA loans.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other team members.
