Gestión y control de la operación diaria del departamento de contabilidad, asegurar la aplicación de métodos, políticas y principios contables adecuados, coordinar el correcto cierre contable mensual, elaborar informes y estados financieros, validar el control presupuestal y dar seguimiento a auditorias.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervisar y coordinar todas las actividades del departamento contable, incluyendo la contabilidad general, cuentas por pagar, cuentas por cobrar y la gestión de activos.
  • Asegurar la correcta clasificación y registro de todas las transacciones financieras en el sistema contable.
  • Entregar estados financieros de forma general y por tienda con sus respectivos análisis conclusiones y recomendaciones dentro de los 3 primeros días hábiles del siguiente mes.
  • Cumplir con las fechas y cálculo correcto de obligaciones tributarias.
  • Brindar soporte al Controller en actividades extraordinarias: auditorías externas, fiscales.
  • Actualizar de manera constante la impresión de libros contables.
  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de todas las obligaciones fiscales locales y nacionales, incluyendo la preparación y presentación oportuna de declaraciones de impuestos.
  • Mantenerse al tanto de los cambios en la legislación fiscal y ajustar las prácticas contables en consecuencia.
  • Dirigir y desarrollar al personal contable, brindando orientación, capacitación y evaluaciones de desempeño regulares.
  • Fomentar un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo y orientado a resultados.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Licenciatura en Contaduría Pública.
  • Certificación profesional en contabilidad, como CPA.
  • Mínimo de 5 años de experiencia en contabilidad, con al menos 3 años en un rol de supervisión.
  • Sólido conocimiento de las normativas fiscales locales.
  • Conocimiento profundo de los principios contables, normas internacionales de información financiera (IFRS) y legislación fiscal hondureña.
  • Dominio de software contable y sistemas ERP.
  • Excelentes habilidades analíticas y atención al detalle.
  • Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y cumplir con plazos ajustados.
  • Fuertes habilidades de liderazgo y comunicación, tanto verbal como escrita.
  • Bilingüe español - inglés (no indispensable).
